West System Epoxy Resin 105 (1G)

West System's do-everything 2 part epoxy system is marine grade for excellent water repellancy and durability.  It bonds and coats fibreglass, wood, metal, fabrics, and other composite materials.

The 105 resin is the base material you use to build whatever compound you want.  Used with West System hardener it cures within a large temperature range and doesn't shrink.  They don't use volatile solvents so this resin is safer to work with than polyester or vinylester resins and doesn't have a strong odour.  It works great as an adhesive and when you use filler in it you can shape/sand it after it has cured.  When applied with a roller it flows out into a thin smooth film without "fisheyeing".  Cures clear.
