Cross Country Ski Lessons

cross country skiers in a lesson

Whether you're brand new on skis or an experienced skier looking to renew good habits and technique, cross country ski lessons will help you get on track. Lessons will start running as soon as there is enough of a snow base and the trails are being groomed. They are led by a CANSI certified instructor.

Drop-in classic lessons - (45 mins) Thursday evenings at 6:30

Location and start date TBD - stay tuned!

Suitable for beginner to intermediate level skiers, these will cover the basics of the classic diagonal stride. No pre-registration required, simply show up to the lesson location with skis on, ready to go. You must have your own equipment. Cost $20/lesson (please bring cash or cheque).

Drop-in skate lessons - (45 mins) Thursday evenings at 7:30

Location and start date TBD - stay tuned!

Suitable for beginner to intermediate level skiers, these will cover the basics of skate style skiing. No pre-registration required, simply show up to the lesson location with skis on, ready to go. You must have your own equipment. Cost $20/lesson (please bring cash or cheque).

Private lessons

If you want some one-on-one time with the instructor, private lessons are the best way to improve your skiing. These are more focused and in depth lessons that target areas to work on. Open to all ages, all levels, skate or classic. Cost is $60/hr.  If you sign up as a couple or a group it is $60 for the first person and $20 per each additional person (maximum 6).  Payment can be made at the lesson (cash or cheque), in person at the store, or over the phone with a credit card.

If interested, please contact the store.  The instructor will get back to you to set up a time and location that works best for all.
