Cross Country Ski Packages at Eb's

If you’re thinking about getting into cross country skiing — welcome! You’ve come to the right place. At Eb’s Source for Adventure, we’ve been helping Saskatchewan skiers get started (and fall in love with winter) for over 50 years.

A ski package includes skis, bindings, boots and poles, and when you purchase them together, you’ll receive a discount on each item — plus free binding installation and a complimentary glide wax to get you started right.

Why Proper Ski Fitting Matters

The right fit transforms your skiing experience. If skis are not properly fit to you it can be a struggle for glide, grip and control. Our trained staff use a Fischer Camber Tester to match your skis precisely to your weight, skill level, and technique.

We take the time to answer questions, explain gear differences, and guide you toward the equipment that best supports your goals, whether that’s gentle weekend outings or high performance training.

How to Buy a Ski Package

Visit us in store, no appointment needed. We’ll help you choose the right equipment for you. You can mix and match skis, boots, and poles — you’re not locked into specific brands or sets. Once your package is complete, we apply the discounts at the till.

Live outside Saskatoon? No problem. We offer shipping across Canada, and can size your skis using our digital camber tester to ensure a proper fit before they leave the shop.

More Than Just Gear

Buying a ski package is just the start. We’re happy to answer any questions about maintenance, waxing, where to ski, lessons, or how to connect with Saskatchewan’s amazing ski community.

Winter’s more fun when you’re gliding through it — let’s get you out there!

Recreational Ski Packages (Classic)

These packages are appropriate for beginners to intermediate skiers who want to get out and have fun. Classic skis are stable and easy to use and care for. They include waxless (fishscale), skin, and waxable models. Classic boots are made to be warmer and more comfortable than top-end gear.

Classic waxless ski packages start at about $405.

Skin Ski Packages (Classic)

Skin skis are a popular type of classic waxless ski that gives better glide than traditional cut base skis. They are well suited for groomed trails. The "skin" is a mohair strip under the kick zone of the ski and is replaceable when it wears out. Skins normally last a quite a few years depending on how often and aggressively you ski. Skin ski styles range from touring to racing.

Skin ski packages start at about $530.

Performance Ski Packages (Classic)

Performance classic skis have higher quality bases that can hold wax better and are more grindable, more complex core constructions to be lighter and more responsive, and have cambers suited to a diagonal ski style with distinct kick and glide phases. They come in waxable and skin styles and have a 44mm parallel cut, and usually offer different flexes to suit the skier and conditions. These skis are great for intermediate to elite skiers and racers.

Performance classic ski packages start at about $765.

Skate Ski Packages

Skate skiing is a distinct style from the traditional diagonal stride. Skate skis are made with an entirely different camber and are stiffer and shorter, and the boots have stiff soles and far more support than a classic boot. Whether you are just starting out or are a top level racer there is a package here for you.

Skate ski packages start at about $815.

Off-Trail Ski Packages (Backcountry)

There is a range of off-trail ski types in here, mostly aimed at skiing off trail or a mix of on and off trail. They are wider for better flotation on looser snow. These are mostly waxless skis with some skin skis and some that have the option to attach backcountry skins for steep terrain.

The boots are more stable and sturdy and typically require a more robust backcountry binding. Poles for these packages have larger baskets for loose snow.

Off-trail ski packages start at about $565.

Bunnyrabbit package: $140
