Swix Grip Wax VP65 Red-Black

Swix's VP waxes are flourocarbon free and made for racing, although their excellent glide and grip properties make them fun for training as well. Each wax has two temperature ranges, one for new fallen snow with sharp penetrating snow crystals, and one for transformed older snow with more rounded crystals.

VP65 red-black wax has a black anti-icing additive for tricky conditions around the freezing point. It works really well on older snow in high humidity as well. It works best as a top layer over several corked layers of a slightly harder wax, as well as a cover on top of klister.
