Backcountry Skis
Backcountry skis are wider cross country skis that are designed to be used in loose snow. There are some models that will fit in a groomed track yet can also be used off trail and on snowmobile trails. The wider the ski the more stability and flotation it has on loose snow.
We have waxless (fishscale) and skin models of backcountry skis, and some have partial or full metal edges. Metal edges add weight to the skis but assist with base durability and edge control.
