These products are designed for your classic cross country ski's grip zone - the middle section of your ski base under the foot. This grip zone may be a fishscale waxless pattern, a skin strip, or it might be smooth if you have waxable skis. These products are not designed for skate skis as the grip on those skis comes from edging the ski.
