This barrel is a good size for shorter trips or daytrips and will keep your food dry and safe from wildlife.  It's got a lever-lock closure lid and two side handles for carrying.  You can purchase a harness (sold separately) which allows you to portage the barrel on your back, keeping your hands free for other gear.
