The preferred wax for long-distance races such as the Vasaloppet, Swix Marathon is a hard and extra durable glide wax powder with an additive for long distance racing. It comes in a White (fresh snow) and a Black (dirty, contaminated snow). The additive reduces friction against dirt particles. This series of waxes/powders is not temperature specific and will work in all temperatures, although it works best in warmer conditions. Use as a base wax alone or as a base for top coats.
