Swix Merino Wool Roto Brush

This merino wool brush applies glide wax to the ski without the use of an iron, a process known as "fleecing".  It works best with glide waxes specially formulated for wool application, such as the Swix PRO Marathon waxes and Swix PRO Turbo waxes. 

To load the brush press the wax block against half the width of the rotating wool for about 5 seconds while running the drill at low speed. Use the waxed side of the wool brush on the ski with medium pressure and drill speed to apply the wax, then polish at high speed and very light pressure with the clean half of the wool.

Fleecing is also extremely effective for finishing top coats, such as Swix TS Liquid Glide waxes. Apply the liquid topper, let dry completely, then fleece it in with the wool roto brush.

Note: do not use the roto cover when using wool brushes.
