Flextail Tiny Pump 3X

Highly reviewed online, the Tiny Pump 3X is one of those small pieces of gear that ends up being surprisingly useful. It's a 3 in 1: it can inflate, vacuum, and be a lantern. It's powered by 3 high-density pure cobalt cells (the highest energy density batteries) and delivers 11 single-size sleeping mat inflations per charge. 

It’s tiny enough to toss in a pack or glovebox, but powerful enough to quickly inflate sleeping pads, air mattresses, pool floats, and more without much effort. The pump comes with 5 versatile nozzles that cover 90% of sleeping-pad brands, including Thermarest, Nemo, Exped, Sea to Summit, Big Agnes and more. The pump can also be worked backwards for deflating gear and vacuum bags. Or use it to blow your campfire into life.

Compared to earlier versions, it’s much quieter, lighter, faster, and noticeably stronger, with enough battery life to handle plenty of inflations between charges. The button has been improved and you can use it with one hand. Double tap the "P" on the button to activate the pump, double tap the "L" to activate the light, and long press the L for Off and Light Memory. The built-in lantern is handy as a backup light source and has multiple brightness settings, including a soft warm light for evenings in the tent.
