MSR Whisperlite

One of the best selling backcountry stoves ever, the WhisperLite has been trusted for decades by many of our staff. Built from stainless steel and brass, it’s designed to handle regular use and tough conditions. One of the biggest advantages of this stove is how maintainable it is in the field - you can take the whole thing apart, clean it and put it back together. It also has Shaker Jet technology which makes cleaning the jet simple and straightforward.

Its simple liquid-fuel design delivers consistent performance in a wide range of environments and conditions, even cooler weather. The fuel line is flexible and allows the stove to pack down small enough to fit inside most MSR pots. This is an excellent stove for general backpacking use or as an emergency stove in your kit.
