Swix's VP waxes are flourocarbon free and made for racing, although their excellent glide and grip properties make them fun for training as well. Each wax has two temperature ranges, one for new fallen snow with sharp penetrating snow crystals, and one for transformed older snow with more rounded crystals.

VP60 purple-red wax works well in moist new snow and shiny tracks. If you're skiing in tricky conditions around zero degrees, VP65 is recommended.

New snow temperature range: 2/-1°C
Old snow temperature range: -1/-4°C
