Altai Hok Ski with Universal Pivot Binding (145 cm)
Your "truly all-purpose backcountry tool", Canadian-based Altai Skis are designed for skiing out the back door and through your local country. Co-founders Nils Larsen and François Sylvain combined decades of experience to create the Hok: a hybrid ski with roots in the ancient traditions of the Altai Mountains, adapted for modern, off-track adventures.
The 145 cm Hok is the bigger, more downhill-oriented version of Altai’s signature all-terrain ski. With an integrated climbing skin, steel edges, and a wide, stable platform, it’s built to float through deep snow and carve controlled turns—even in unpredictable terrain. It has a bit more glide and a slightly stiffer feel than the 125, making it a great pick for larger skiers or anyone planning longer tours with more descents in the mix.
The skis comes mounted with Universal XTrace Pivot Bindings which work with your regular winter boots—no ski boots required. The screw hole pattern is also compatible with current 75mm 3-pin bindings. If you have backcountry boots, there is an adapter plate (sold separately) that is compatible with Rottefella NNN BC and Solomon BC bindings.
