Altai Balla Hok Junior Ski with Universal Binding (99 cm)
Altai Skis was founded to make backcountry skiing more accessible, and that mission includes the youngest adventurers too. The Balla Hok takes its name from the word for “child” in the Altai Mountains—where skiing is part of daily life—and adapts the adult Hok design into a kid-sized ski that’s all about fun and confidence in the snow.
Designed to fit kids roughly aged 3 to 10, the Balla Hok is stable, easy to use, and great for climbing, descending, or simply playing around in the backyard or local trails. It features an integrated skin for grip, a wide and forgiving shape for stability, and a soft flex that makes it easier to control than traditional skis.
The skis come mounted with Kuna Universal Bindings which work with your child's regular winter boots.
